SOS — Send Off Sale | Zivame
Overview
Vintage Neon Sale was a high-impact window concept created for Zivame's End of Season Sale, branded internally as SOS - Send Off Sale. Drawing inspiration from classic American motel signage designed to capture attention from a distance, the window mimics the signage shapes along with bold typography and pop colours to make sale messaging absolutely impossible to miss, while also keeping product clearly visible.
The Brief
Turning Clearance into a Visual Event
The objective was to design a window for Zivame's SOS — Send Off Season Sale that drove immediate footfall in order to clear the available stock effectively. The display needed to clearly emphasise on the limited-time offers. The challenge was to move beyond the standard red and white EOSS signages.
Design Approach
Using retro and neon signages as a visual language
The aim was to create a window that stood out in a crowded mall environment while keeping offers easy to read and understand within seconds.
I drew inspiration from motel and Vegas-style signages, known for attracting attention instantly. I used multi dimensional structural and graphic forms, pop colours vintage typography and fit them cohesively.
Sale words such as "DEAL," "HURRY," and discount percentages were treated as visual anchors. Layered cut-outs and raised elements created depth and shadow, while dotted detailing around frames mimicked flashing neon bulbs, creating a sense of urgency and movement.

Product Integration
Visibility Within the Noise
While the window was driven by bold sale communication, the product visibility remained central. A selection of colourful bras was displayed in multiple units on contrasting backgrounds to ensure clarity from a distance.
Impact
The window stood out strongly within the mall environment
It communicated urgency and discounts instantly. Its bold visual language ensured high readability while maintaining clear product visibility, supporting the overall objective of the SOS Sale.
